Star wheels receive Vials from the infeed conveyor through a feed screw with slots for Vial diameter.
The infeed star wheel transfers Vials onto grippers mounted on the drum of the washing section.
Grippers hold Vials in inverted position while the drum moves at a uniform speed during washing.
Spray tubes travel in synchronism with grippers and enter Vials with orifices exactly centered.
After washing and drying, Vials are transferred to the tunnel from outfeed star wheel through outfeed conveyor.
